About the Author
Charles Edward Chapel was born in Iowa in 1904. Graduating from the Naval Academy at Annapolis and serving in the Marine Corps, he was a prolific writer, publishing thousands of articles on subjects such as police science, aviation, and firearms. One of the nation’s most active gun writers, he published nearly a dozen books on the subject. Chapel died in 1967.

Great instruction and techniques for the gunsmith.

I enjoy reading from the masters. Some of the instruction can be done easier today with current tools available. But most of the instruction is very relevant today. And gives a sense of where some of these tools/procedures for gunsmiths came from. You might even find a better way to work with firearms than spend every cent you make on tools you may not need.
